Robert is an Associate in the Property Litigation team in the Real Estate department.
He has experience advising a broad range of clients, including landed estates, high net worth individuals and property developers on both commercial and residential property disputes. He frequently advises on landlord and tenant issues (disrepair, possession claims), and real property disputes (boundary disputes, restrictive covenants, easements).
Robert also has experience advising on contentious agricultural property matters including proprietary estoppel. Whilst at a previous firm he advised on the case of Horsford v Horsford [2020] EWHC 584 (Ch), an 8-day high court case. The case considered the role of a partnership agreement and whether a detriment can be suffered where there have been considerable countervailing benefits.
Robert is a member of the Property Litigation Association and contributed to Public Rights of Way and Access to Land by Angela Sydenham.
