Our Rural Property Group handles rural property across England and Wales from our London, Oxford and Cambridge offices.  We specialise in country houses, farms, estates, equestrian property, renewables, development land, Natural Capital and environmental projects, and rural commercial property portfolios.

The team has managed some of the highest value transactions in recent years for country house and sporting estates, commercial farming, and stud farms.  We are proud to be recognised as one of the leading transactional teams in the country, renowned for completing transactions within tight deadlines. Our team has particular expertise in overage and unlocking issues with bank security, both of which can otherwise delay or even derail a transaction.

BNG and sustainability

Alongside our work advising owners of country houses and heritage property, farms, estates and rural businesses on property, tax and succession planning, we are heavily involved in the industry's evolving conversation around Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Natural Capital. We focus on bringing together our clients and contacts to share best practice, and regularly advise those in cluster groups, Landscape Recovery Schemes, or selling BNG credits.
