We are both invested and involved in the luxury, fashion and retail industries, helping to further the aims of both well-established and up and coming brands. Our association with Walpole, a non-profit-making organisation that furthers the interests of the British luxury industry, grants us access to and the ability to form relationships with the UK’s most prestigious brands. We are a sponsor of the Walpole Awards for Excellence and the sole sponsor of Walpole's Brands of Tomorrow, a bespoke mentorship programme that helps aspiring British luxury brands fulfil their potential. Brands of Tomorrow have included Business of Fashion, Charlotte Olympia, Goat, House of Hackney, Lily & Lionel, Lucas Hugh, Otis Batterbee, Rococo Chocolates, Wolf & Badger and Zoe Jordan. Through the programme, we have provided bespoke legal services and coaching to a number of exciting young fashion brands.
In 2014, we also launched a Designer Mentoring Programme with the British Fashion Council. Each year, we work with 10 carefully selected British fashion designers to assist in building their businesses.
Lawfully Chic, our fashion blog, seeks to capture the essence of “doing good in style”: presenting sustainable fashion, emerging art and design and environmentally responsible travel. Blending comment from those working within the fashion, art and travel industries with the expert opinion of lawyers from Mishcon de Reya, Lawfully Chic has become an interesting backdrop for topical debate and insightful dialogue.
