We continue to act for this joint venture on their ongoing programme of development for East Village, the former Olympic Village in Stratford, east London. We advise on a number of aspects, including property and asset management, construction and financing.

Advising on development and construction aspects regarding the £155 million forward funding of the Loft Lines project at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast which involves the delivery of 778 sustainable homes (comprising 627 BTR units and 151 affordable homes) and public realm spaces to be funded by Legal & General – this is the first build-to-rent scheme and the largest ever private sector investment into housing in NI.

Advising on the real estate aspects of the financing of a single-family rental portfolio with a loan value of circa £420m. The properties form part of a portfolio of SFR owned by Blackstone and Regis and comprised 1,268 units across 32 sites.

Advising on a major £252 million forward funding transaction to create 649 homes at the Lewisham Gateway scheme, forming Phase 2 of one of the largest regeneration projects in South East London. This transaction increases Get Living’s portfolio to over 8,000 homes across four cities.

Acting on the £315 million sale to Lone Star of a 2,621-bed portfolio of student accommodation comprising two operational sites at Cardiff and Hatfield and two sites under construction at Sheffield and Swansea.

Advising on a large affordable housing sale and forward funding in South London. This was a landmark deal which will result in the delivery of 337 affordable apartments and was documented on a sale and forward funding basis.

Advising on the acquisition and subsequent disposal of Helical Plc’s retirement villages portfolio to Legal & General for £102 million.
