Christopher is the Managing Partner of Mishcon de Reya's UAE practice.  He is a corporate Partner and has been practising in the Middle East for over 14 years.

With over 20 years' experience in M&A, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, corporate structuring and reorganisation, corporate governance, and private equity, he has built a strong reputation for both regional and international transactional work.

Chris' clients include business owners, family offices, UHNWIs and equity investors, as well as private, institutional, government and quasi-government entities in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the U.S.

His practice spans a wide range of sectors including aviation, infrastructure, logistics, technology, data centres, hospitality & leisure, real estate, healthcare and education.

  • Advised business owners on the sale and earn-out arrangements of an international digital and brand transformation business based in the Middle East 
  • Advised upon the structuring, shareholder and investor arrangements for an Education fund operating in the Middle Ease 
  • Advised upon the acquisition and shareholder arrangements for a major Europe based port  
  • Advised upon the sale of an international school operating in the Middle East 
  • Advised upon the $3.6bn sale of an international logistics business 
  • Advised on the reorganisation and corporatisation structure of a major airline  
  • Advised a data centre design and build business on its corporate structuring and various joint venture, shareholder and other transactional matters  
  • Advised on the sale, acquisition and shareholder arrangements of multiple luxury hotels
