Phil is a Partner in the Corporate department. Phil’s practice centres on venture capital and technology transactions, with a particular focus on supporting founders and high-growth companies throughout their journey, from incorporation and early-stage funding, through complex financings, restructurings (including international expansion and US flips), and ultimately to exit. He also acts for a range of active institutional investors and family offices backing these businesses, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both sides of the table.
Having worked extensively with founders of scaling companies, Phil is attuned to the unique challenges and opportunities they face. Consequently, he works closely with other members of the firm to ensure founders receive comprehensive and tailored support through their journey, from tax planning for an exit, wills and pre/post-nuptial agreements, to co-founder agreements and personal advice about exit terms.
