Mishcon de Reya publishes a report on the future of employment law

Posted on 12 February 2021

The level of change that we experienced in 2020 and that we are likely to see in the coming months will cause seismic shift to the world of employment law. The twin catalysts of the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit have created a very uncertain period, and uncertainty can be the enemy of commerce.

Following a series of interviews and written questionnaires with some of the most influential barristers in the world of employment, we have put together a report highlighting the biggest challenges facing employers, employees, and the legal profession, and areas of law that need reform in the medium to long term. We hope that this report will provoke thought and start a conversation that may serve to shape the future of employment law in the UK.

In the coming months, we will shed some more light on the subjects raised in this report via a series of events, articles and podcasts. The first event in this series 'Diversity and Inclusion Technology: The future is now' is taking place on Tuesday 16 February at 4pm. Click here to view the details and register.
