Lavinia Greenlaw is an English poet, novelist, non-fiction writer and was Mishcon's former Poet in Residence as this article extract explains:
"At a party to welcome her to the firm, 120 staff, half the workforce, turned out to say hello. Explains Greenlaw: "Every week, when I come in, I put a different poem in the e-mail with some comment. Throughout the day people write back with their own poems or suggestions for poems. Some people are baffled, others are provoked.""
Post Mishcon, Lavinia has won the Prix du Premier Roman and her poetry has been shortlisted for awards that include the T. S. Eliot Prize, Forward Prize and Whitbread Poetry Prize. Lavinia currently holds the post of Professor of Creative Writing (Poetry) at Royal Holloway, University of London.
