Rebecca is an Associate in the Planning Team in the Real Estate department.
Rebecca advises on all aspects of planning law, including negotiating and drafting s106 agreements and s278 highways agreements, planning and enforcement appeals, judicial reviews and statutory challenges, compulsory purchase, environmental impact assessment, BNG, and due diligence in connection with property transactions. Rebecca advises corporate, private and local authority clients across a wide range of sectors including residential, student housing, later living, mixed-use, hotels, life sciences, retail, office, industrial and leisure.

- Advising on planning matters in relation to complex and large-scale urban regeneration projects.
- Negotiating a section 106 for a multi-phase mixed use development comprising healthcare, residential and commercial uses.
- Advising on the planning aspects of a portfolio sale of seven retail parks.
- Advising on the planning aspects of due diligence for the portfolio purchase and financing of six PBSA properties totalling 2,948 beds as well as several commercial units.
- Advising a developer on urban regeneration projects as part of a multi-disciplinary real-estate team.
- Acting for a developer in relation to a claim in the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) for compensation arising from interference with its right of way.
- Defending planning enforcement actions and advising on judicial reviews.
- Advising on green belt development and DCO objections and compensation.
