Susan is a Partner in the Real Estate department. An experienced real estate lawyer, her in-depth understanding of the property market, the emerging world of AI and her business training as a Sloan Masters MSc (London Business School) graduate, combined with a wide circle of contacts is an effective combination. She uses her commercial know-how and extensive connections to benefit clients and the firm. Susan's contacts have helped to make the firm’s programme of client seminars and events “must attend” networking opportunities.
In 2021, Susan received an honorary doctorate from the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) now the University of the Built Environment, in recognition of her contribution to the built environment.
She is ranked in directories as "the woman who knows everyone and "a world-class networker" with "a contact book full of CEOs." Susan is a member of the Mishcon Technology Group, which launched MDR LAB - an incubator programme for tech start-ups in the legal space. She has also mentored for Pi Labs accelerator programme for proptech start-ups since it launched and is a regular speaker on the #proptech circuit.
Susan is on the board of the Central District Alliance, Holborn and the surrounding area's Business Improvement District and chairs its Property Group. She is also on the Board of Advisors of flexible working company Work.Life.
She hosts the Propertyshe podcast regularly interviewing an eclectic mix of property influencers who define and make a difference to the real estate industry and the built environment. The podcast series which now has a back catalogue of over 140 guests is ranked #1 in Feedspot's Top 20 Best London Real Estate podcasts and #1 in Feedspot's 28 Best UK Real Estate Podcasts list. It is included in CREi Summit's official 2026 Podcast List and was shortlisted for Podcast of the Year at the 2025 International Building Press Awards.
Susan writes on property industry issues and has for many years written a guest column for Property Week and their MIPIM diary giving her very personal take on the annual real estate event in Cannes .
She also undertakes regular speaking engagements and is an experienced panel chair/moderator and interviewer. Recent engagements have included chairing a panel for JW3 on 'The disruption of construction. How outside influences are impacting the UK property market' with high powered panellists Jamie Ritblat (Delancey), Jonathan Goldstein (Cain International) and Daniel Daggers (DDRE Global). She also chaired a panel on Operationalizing Smart Buildings: Maximizing Portfolio Value and Delivering a Sustainable Future at Proptech Connect 2026 and a panel at UKREiiF 2026 with Orbital Founder and MD Will Pearce entitled "The New Occupier: How AI Is Rewriting Real Estate" .
