Preparing for Green Reforms: Impact on the retail sector

Mishcon de Reya's Retail Academy invites you to a webinar discussion on proposals for green legislation in the EU and their impact on the retail sector. 

The session will cover new EU rules being planned across the lifecycle of a product, from design and marketing, to repair and waste. Topics will include:

• the Eco-Design for Sustainable Products Regulation which proposes a requirement for products to have 'digital product passports'. These would have key information about the environmental sustainability of the product;
• the Green Claims Directive which has been proposed to tackle greenwashing;
• the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive designed to provide consumers with information to make sustainable choices; and
• the Right to Repair Directive which seeks to make it easier for consumers to repair products.
