Susan Freeman: A bird's eye view of the Conservative party conference

Following last week's Labour Party Conference, Real Estate Partner Susan Freeman headed to Birmingham for the Conservative Party Conference to co-host, along with Central, the second of our The Big Think Policy Dinners on 'Shaping and Creating Great Places'. This was part of a series of linked debates established by Mishcon de Reya and Central to examine the changing needs of our cities. With the support of our sponsors, Westminster Property Association and Essential Living, we assembled an interesting group of industry leaders including our Guest of Honour, Housing and Planning Minister Brandon Lewis MP, local politicians spearheading regeneration in their areas, property developers, and leading opinion makers, to discuss the issues around creating places people want to live and work in.

In her second Estates Gazette Blog on the party conferences, Susan Freeman, also known as @Propertyshe, gives a bird's eye view of The Big Think Policy Dinner and some of the real estate fringe events.
