Personal Profile

Giovanni is a Managing Associate in the Real Estate department.

He has experience of working across a broad range of commercial property transactions including development projects, property investment, property financing and landlord and tenant matters. He has acted for a variety of clients including institutional investors, property companies, private bodies and not for profit organisations amongst a mixture of asset types including retail, office and industrial.

Giovanni is a member of the British Property Federation Futures and British Council for Offices' NextGen. He is also a governor at a primary school and a regular speaker to students at the University of Southampton.

Key Experience

  • Acting for a number of institutional investors on the acquisition of an investment property and ongoing property management, including a 70 unit mixed office and industrial estate
  • Acting for a marketing agency and an investment advisory firm on the relocation of their head offices in Fitzroy Street, London and St James's Square, London, respectively
  • Acting for a property company on the refinancing of a 40 unit shopping centre for circa £50 million
  • Acting for a public body on the sale and proposed re-development of its existing headquarters, involving a land swap of adjoining property with an unconnected third party, various leasebacks, pre-emption rights and overage
