Mishcon de Reya further expands Real Estate practice with three new senior hires

Mishcon de Reya's Real Estate team has welcomed three new hires, Partner Ian Ginbey, Consultant Partner Adam Marks and Consultant Nick Turner. They joined the firm's London office during the first week of May, bolstering the firm's planning, finance and commercial real estate capabilities.

Ian Ginbey brings to the firm's Planning team extensive expertise in complex planning matters across sectors such as aviation, residential, commercial, and leisure. His skills cover both contentious and non-contentious work, including compulsory purchase, judicial review, enforcement, and environmental impact assessment. Ian has been involved in high-profile developments like urban extensions, regeneration schemes, and infrastructure projects, securing several landmark legal decisions. Ian joins Mishcon de Reya from Clyde & Co.

Nick Turner joins Mishcon de Reya's Real Estate Finance team with a wealth of industry experience. He advises a range of clients, including banks and alternative lenders, on structured and secured lending across diverse asset classes. Nick is a proponent of green lending initiatives and has a strong track record in restructuring distressed deals in the UK and Germany. Nick joins Mishcon de Reya from Gowling WLG.

Adam Marks brings to the Commercial Real Estate team over two decades of experience in commercial property, particularly in the hotels and leisure sector and with a specific emphasis on stadia. He advises on a variety of real estate transactions, including complex developments, investments, and acquisitions. He also advises a number of high net worth families in respect of their real estate interests. Adam has been the lead advisor to a major serviced office provider for many years and is a recognised expert in this field. Adam joins Mishcon de Reya from Taylor Wessing.
