This session will then interrogate the concept of sports law and the notion of the ‘autonomy of sport’ before delving into the unique characteristics of sports disputes alongside leading sports barrister, Mark Afeeva of Matrix Chambers.
We will explore the forums for resolving disputes, jurisdiction clauses, the FA’s Rule K arbitration procedure as well as introducing the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
