In November, the Mishcon Academy welcomed multiple Academy Award nominee and producer/director of The Crown, Stephen Daldry, and Olivier Award winner, Juliet Stevenson, who spoke to the creators of 'The Walk', a travelling festival of art and hope, as part of the Manchester International Festival (MIF21).
Tracey Seaward (BAFTA Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated Producer), Amir Nizar Zuabi (Artistic Director of The Walk) and Naomi Webb (Good Chance Exec Director) created The Walk, which features 'Little Amal' a 3.5 metre-tall puppet of a young refugee girl, created by the acclaimed Handspring Puppet Company.
Embodying the urgent message "Don't forget about us", Little Amal will travel over 8,000km, starting from the Turkish/Syrian border and ending in Manchester, UK.
The Walk will take place between April and July 2021, and is being organised by the Good Chance Theatre Company.
