Mishcon de Reya appointed by ACFE as authorised training partner

Mishcon de Reya has announced that it has been appointed by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) as its authorised trainer in England to deliver the CFE Exam Review Course and CFE Exam. This is the first time the ACFE has partnered with a third party in the UK to provide training.

The Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential has been recognised by the FBI, SEC, U.S. Department of Defense, the IRS and the City of London Police, among other agencies and organisations worldwide.

The ACFE is the world's largest anti-fraud organisation and provider of anti-fraud training and education, with nearly 75,000 members in more than 150 countries. The first course will take place in London on the 23rd-26th June 2015, with a second course scheduled for December 2015. Further details will be released in the near future.

Gary Miller, Founder of Mishcon de Reya's Fraud Group and Director of the ACFE UK Chapter, said: "It is a great honour that the ACFE has appointed Mishcon de Reya to be its training partner in England.

"We have long held the CFE certification in high regard, and are excited to be in a position to encourage those involved in the prevention and detection of fraud to become certified."

ACFE President and CEO James D. Ratley, CFE, said the agreement with Mishcon de Reya will increase opportunities for anti-fraud professionals in the UK to earn the CFE credential: “Certified Fraud Examiners are recognised as the experts in fraud prevention and deterrence, and they are in demand among businesses, government organisations and other entities worldwide.

"As an authorised trainer, Mishcon de Reya will be able to help more fraud fighters reach their goal of becoming CFEs, serving to both enhance their professional standing and increase their ability to prevent and detect fraud."
