Immigration considerations
Visitors to the UK may be unable to travel to their home country to renew their entry visas. If this becomes the case, it is possible that the Home Office will permit applications for certain visa extensions to be made in the UK, rather than the applicant's home country. Check with the Home Office for updated guidance on visa extensions.
Travel disruption and/or overseas illness treatment

Family separation
Travel disruption and restrictions and/or enforced quarantine arrangements could see family members stranded overseas. Advice on repatriation arrangements can be sought from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office or from the local Embassy or Consulate office.
