Following the developments regarding COVID-19 and the Government's call for all workers to work from home, Mishcon issued advice to all employees about being safe when it comes to taking confidential calls at home.
Joe Hancock, Partner and Head of MDR Cyber, spoke to Bloomberg about the Firm's stance and the risks of having listening devices such as Amazon's Alexa, present in your work space whilst at home.
He said: “Perhaps we’re being slightly paranoid but we need to have a lot of trust in these organizations and these devices.”
“We’d rather not take those risks.”
