George regularly acts on behalf office holders, companies, directors, creditors, shareholders and individuals on a range of high-value disputes with multi-jurisdictional aspects, arising predominantly in the context of financial distress and insolvency.
George is a member of the R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals.

- Greensill Bank v Zurich & Ors: Acting in respect of a $400m coverage dispute relating to the purported avoidance of a credit risk insurance policy and related claims in tort, arising out of the collapse of Greensill Capital (UK) Limited.
- Acting in respect of winding-up proceedings arising out of the collapse of Greensill Capital (UK) Limited.
- RoyaleLife Group: Acted for the Joint Administrators of a number of companies within the RoyaleLife Group following its collapse, challenging antecedent transactions and successfully applying for injunctive relief in order to preserve the assets of the companies ([2024] EWHC 327 (Ch)).
- London Capital & Finance Plc: Acted in relation the Joint Administrators' investigation into the high-profile collapse of LCF, as well on satellite litigation arising from the main claim ([2024] EWHC 2894 (Ch)).
- Acting for the Interim Liquidator of a Malaysian entity in relation to investigation of fraudulent transactions, the co-ordination of prospective recoveries and advising on proceedings across multiple jurisdictions with creditor claims estimated to be in excess of $1billion.
- Acting in respect of high-profile bankruptcy proceedings (with a petition debt in excess of £100million).
- Defending a high-value claim for breach of contract in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
