DealWIP came about from frustrations that we experienced as practitioners in the hours that we were spending conducting tests that we thought could have been automated.

So we set out to build a workflow collaboration platform for transactional attorneys to really address every phase of the legal transaction process.

When we came into the lab we had a very specific idea of what we thought out product was going to be.  We got decisive feedback from Mishcon’s attorneys that that product probably wouldn’t work very well.  We made a really quick pivot I think within the first ten days of being in the lab to follow the course that Mishcon attorneys were telling us would probably be better.

Actually being in there and talking to many, many different attorneys about their problems gives you kind of a rich source of data that you can’t get anywhere else.
