Mishcon sponsors WOW Foundation Podcast

Posted on 02 July 2020

Mishcon de Reya has sponsored The WOW Podcast – a new podcast from The WOW Foundation that is full of stories of inspiring women, featuring in-depth interviews and highlights from WOW festivals round the world.

The WOW Foundation exists to build, convene and sustain a global movement that believes a gender equal world is desirable, possible and urgently required.

Episode 1 features Gillian Anderson, Gina Miller, and Mishcon Associate Saskia Neuberger. It looks back to WOW's 10th anniversary festival in London earlier this year with an extract from Domestic Violence - Everyone's Problem; a powerful panel discussion featuring campaigner Gina Miller, SafeLives' Pioneers Naomi Donald and Celia Peachey.

Episode 2 explores Caroline Criado Perez's award-winning book Invisible Women that exposes the world's gender data bias - from crash test dummies to PPE, the world has largely been designed for and by men with sometimes fatal consequences.

Listen to a short extract from Caroline's event at 2020's London WOW Festival, before Jude Kelly catches up with Caroline during lockdown to see what impact Covid-19 has had on the data gap. Mishcon Diversity and Wellbeing Advisor Michelle Bromley is also interviewed.

New podcast episodes are released regularly. You can listen to the first two episodes, plus a bonus episode, online now.
