Mishcon de Reya's Private Equity team has advised shareholders and management on the sale of their equity interests in Harvey Jones Holdings Limited, a bespoke kitchen design and manufacturing company, to Coniston Capital.

Harvey Jones have been making bespoke kitchens from their Cambridgeshire workshop for more than 40 years and in that time have designed and crafted more than fifteen thousand handmade kitchens. They have 28 kitchen showrooms across the UK and with the backing from Coniston, plan to further expand.

The Mishcon de Reya team was led by Nadim Meer and included Bridgette Gorman, Joana Santos, Karine Bennamara, Sakhee Ganatra, Stephen Diosi, Lorenzo Coppola, Sean Jamieson, Kavita Mehta, John Skoulding, Stephen Elhabbal and Allison Keyse.

Nadim Meer, Head of Private Equity at Mishcon de Reya, commented: "Having known the Harvey Jones management team for many years it was particularly satisfying to help them secure this transaction. The deal allows the senior members of the team to exit gracefully and provides a solid platform for the new team to continue the growth plan."

Darren Woolsgrove, Managing Director of Harvey Jones, commented "Nadim and his team have been with us for a number of years and I can’t thank them enough for the support that they’ve given to Harvey Jones during that time.

The whole team have been critical in helping us to finalise this transaction; they provided sensible, pragmatic, and commercial advice throughout whilst understanding the various challenges of all stakeholders involved."
