Karine Bashardust

Karine is a Managing Associate in the Private Equity group. As part of her private equity experience, Karine focusses on advising founders and management teams on buy-out and growth capital investments.

She also has a wide range of experience in UK and cross-border corporate transactions including private mergers and acquisitions, fundraisings, joint ventures, corporate advisory work and advises non-institutional investors of private capital as well as investee companies.

Karine studied both English and French laws and trained at the Firm.

Karine is a native French speaker and, within Mishcon, is part of the French Group.

Key Experience

• Advised the management team of Care UK on the sale of the business by Bridgepoint.
• Advised the Management Team of Corndel on the sale of Corndel Group to Galileo Group. Aggregate Value in excess of US$150,000,000.
• Advised Trimountain Partners on its investment in Horizon Parking and ABCA Systems
• Advised the founders of The Whisky Exchange on its sale to Pernod Ricard
• Advised the principal sellers of Calastone, the world's largest funds network, on the sale of a majority stake to The Carlyle Group.
• Advised management on the sale of Corndel to THI Investments.
• Advised Synechron Holdings Inc on its acquisition of Citihub Limited.
• Advised Scottish Equity Partners and Business Growth Fund on their sale of Workshare Technology Holdings to Litera Microsystem (a portfolio of Hg Capital).
• Acted for a French shipowner on the sale of its fleet of 16 vessels for approximately US$250 million.
