Stephen is an Associate in the Construction Group within the Real Estate department, specialising in non-contentious construction law.
Stephen qualified in Scotland in 2018 and has worked on developments in a variety of sectors, including: retail, residential (with a particular focus on purpose built student accommodation), hotel, office, education, healthcare, food industry, and sports stadia.
Stephen has experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside our Banking, Commercial Real Estate and Corporate departments, advising on the construction aspects of high-profile and high-value investment acquisitions, sales and property financings and on complex development projects.
Stephen's role focusses on drafting and negotiating construction agreements, and he has worked closely with developers, funders, landlords, tenants, contractors and consultants to achieve client-focused results.
