Rob is a dedicated Sports Lawyer working exclusively within the Sports Group. He works closely with sports governing bodies, clubs, elite talent, agents, broadcasters, rights holders and other commercial parties.

Rob has wide experience across a range of sports providing litigious, regulatory and commercial advice and has represented clients in international matters before FIFA's Dispute Resolution Chamber and Players' Status Committee, the Basketball Arbitration Tribunal, the Court of Arbitration for Sport and other international sports decision making federations. Domestically, Rob has represented clients in High Court disputes as well as at arbitral and disciplinary proceedings, including before The Football Association, the British Horseracing Authority, the Royal Yachting Association and UK Anti-Doping.

Rob understands sport as both a business and an industry and has strong regulatory knowledge and excellent commercial and strategic awareness. His recent experience includes advising a governing body in their submission to the International Olympic Committee to take part in the 2020 Olympics and representing a football club in cases before FIFA's Dispute Resolution Committee, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and the High Court of Hong Kong.

Rob previously completed a secondment at The Football Association and is a member of the British Association of Sport and Law (BASL).

He has lectured on a variety of sports law topics and regularly writes for a number of sports law publications.  Rob was recently named as a Sport Industry NextGen Leader, an initiative 'to identify tomorrow’s sports leaders and celebrate the rising stars of the sports industry'. Rob is the only practicing lawyer to receive this accolade.
