Lauren is a Patents Manager within the Patents Group in the Innovation Department.
Her role as a Patents Manager is primarily focussed on providing support throughout the patent prosecution process, worldwide.
She works closely with our Patent Attorney team and her day-to-day tasks include reporting and monitoring deadlines, co-ordinating the filing of patent and registered design applications worldwide, preparing formalities documents at the various Patent Offices, preparing portfolio schedules and cost projections, tracking rule changes. Assisting in due-diligence projects. Processing recordals of transfer and changes to the various Patent Registers.
Key Experience
- Lauren has extensive formalities experience. During her career, she has assisted in the processing of great quantities of applications before the International, UK and European Patent Offices, including European validations and additionally, overseas patent applications either as convention applications, direct filings or national phase applications and Hong Kong recordals. Lauren is particularly familiar with document requirements and supports clients with the completion of any notarisation and legalisation requirements.
- Lauren has extensive experience in assisting clients with the maintenance of their pending and granted patent applications, through the payment of renewal fees.
