Mishcon de Reya has advised the shareholders of Sunray Engineering Group Limited, an industry leader in innovative security solution designs, on the sale of the entire issued share capital of the company to the ASSA ABLOY Group.
Sunray Engineering, which was established in 1980, is based in Ashford in Kent and has over 70 employees. With over 40 years of experience, Sunray Engineering is a leading UK designer, manufacturer and installer of a wide range of high-quality products from steel and timber security doors, fire doors and louvre systems for commercial and industrial application, through to a variety of certified security doors, window grilles and security louvres.
For ASSA ABLOY, the acquisition of Sunray Engineering strengthens their position in the UK and EMEIA market and delivers on their strategy to strengthen their position in the mature markets.
Mishcon Private Partner Nick Davis led the Mishcon de Reya team with support from Corporate Managing Associate Lucinda Brendon, Associates Emma Webb and Karine Bennamara and Trainee Ellie Houston.
