Lily is an Associate in Mishcon Private.

Lily acts for a wide variety of clients, including high profile and high net worth individuals and companies. Her work encompasses a broad range of complex disputes of significant value, including civil fraud, breach of contract and shareholder disputes. She has experience acting for both claimants and defendants in commercial litigation and the majority of her cases have multi-jurisdictional elements. Lily also has experience in obtaining and defending freezing and proprietary orders and other interim injunctions for both individuals and companies.

Lily acts as a legal mentor for SPITE (Sharing and Publishing Images to Embarrass), a pro bono project run in partnership with the Legal Advice Centre at Queen Mary University, advising victims of revenge porn.

She is also a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association and the London Solicitors Litigation Association.

Key Experience

  • Acting for a high net worth individual in a multi-billion pound fraud claim including allegations of deceit, forgery and misrepresentation.
  • Acting for a cooperating witness in a high value Department of Justice tax evasion case.
  • Acting for the former Director General of the Kuwaiti Public Institution for Social Security in defence of civil fraud proceedings worth in excess of $800m. The Public Institution for Social Security of Kuwait v Mr Fahad Al Rajaan and others, listed in the top 20 cases of 2020 in The Lawyer.
  • Acting for The Kingdom of Sweden in pursuit of claims under Maltese and Swedish law for civil fraud in excess of €115m and obtaining interim freezing and proprietary injunctive relief against a number of the defendants.
