Kate is lead Professional Support Lawyer and head of knowledge in the Corporate Department. She is a skilled corporate lawyer with over 20 years experience of advising on structuring, growing and exiting investments for business owners, investors and public and private companies. She has experience in the fields of public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, company law and other business law and regulation.

Kate's highly valued role encompasses mentoring, training and acting as in house counsel to the lawyers. She brings them the cutting edge learning and resources they need to advise our diverse range of UK and international businesses, wealth owners and deal maker clients.

For example, Kate has engineered faster production of legal contracts, freeing up time for lawyers to find the bespoke solutions needed by our clients.

In line with the international nature of the Firm's client base, Kate takes a keen interest in international developments and emerging markets. In 2012 she was one of only two lawyers to join the first UKTI trade mission to Myanmar (Burma) after sanctions were suspended.
