Ed is the firm's Chief Risk Officer.
He is responsible for contributing to the healthy growth and development of the business, using risk as a lens through which to view opportunity and identify strategic priorities. He sits on the firm's Management Board and Operations Board. He is also the firm's Money Laundering Compliance Officer.
His strength is developing and communicating a consistent and positive story as a context for strategic change. Authenticity is at the heart of this. He particularly enjoys positively challenging people’s assumptions about the organisation in what we do and achieve and is continually excited when we are able to learn from the incredible clients that we have.
He is a qualified solicitor and an accredited business coach. Prior to its successful merger with Mishcon, Ed was Managing Partner of Taylor Vinters and led that business through a period of unprecedented transformation from a regional generalist to the country's leading law firm for venture backed innovation businesses.
Ed is also the Chairman of the Mishcon Group company, MDRx and supports the development of the firm's offering in Oxford.
Outside of the business he has a passion for music, art and architecture. He is a proud father and amateur musician/producer and is part of the firm's rock band.
