Chloe is a Managing Associate in the Dispute Resolution department, with specialist expertise in litigation and insurance coverage.
Having spent over 10 years advising on insurance related issues, Chloe has experience advising a large number of corporates and individuals across a wide range of disputes. She has acted on claims notified to a variety of insurance policies including Professional Risks, Directors' and Officers', Warranty and Indemnity, Property, Pharmaceutical, Cyber, and corporate Accident and Health cover. This includes claims notified to both primary and excess layer policies.
Chloe joined Mishcon de Reya from another London law firm in early 2021, having specialised in defending complex Professional Negligence claims against lawyers, trustees and offshore financial and corporate services firms. During that time Chloe regularly acted as Monitoring Counsel for a large number of Lloyd's and London market Insurers on their high profile, multi-jurisdictional, market loss exposures. She has advised clients on disputes across a number of jurisdictions including Jersey, Guernsey, Mauritius, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Gibraltar. In addition to disputes, Chloe has historically advised Insurers directly on their own business risks and provided advice on the construction of policy wordings for various lines of insurance.
Against that background and knowledge of the insurance sector, Chloe now acts exclusively for corporate businesses and policyholders, to advise on coverage disputes, policy wordings and insurance risk management.
Chloe has completed two secondments within the London insurance market. She spent six months on secondment to a Professional Indemnity claims team and a further nine months with the claims team of a leading insurance broker.
