Mishcon de Reya's Private Equity team has acted for the management of Unity Advisory on its equity arrangements with Warburg Pincus.
United Advisory, founded by Marissa Thomas, former Managing Partner of PwC, is a London-based firm providing Office of the CFO services to private equity-backed and other upper mid-market businesses. It provides offerings across business finance, finance operations, tax and compliance, deal readiness and digital and transformation, and specialises in high-touch, technology-driven solutions.
Warburg Pincus, a pioneer of private equity global growth investing has more than $83 billion in assets under management, and more than 220 companies in its active portfolio, and has invested in more than 1,000 companies across its private equity, real estate and capital solutions strategies.
The Mishcon de Reya team was led by Partners Nadim Meer and James Paterson with support from Managing Associate Troy Featherstone and Trainee Meehir Patel. Tax advice was provided by Partner John Skoulding and Associate Eve Drysdale, and Employment advice was provided by Partner Jennifer Millins and Associate Adam McGlynn.
