Employment law for businesses

We advise on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law, managing complex, high profile and high-stake situations and act as trusted advisors to clients across all business sectors, and at all stages of development, from start-ups/ scale-ups to large, multinational PLCs, as well as LLPs and Partnership.

We help build our clients' businesses, defend against claims, resolve disputes, and manage investigations and complex executive and boardroom issues, leveraging our dedicated reputation protection experts where needed.

We work seamlessly with our dedicated incentives and business immigration teams and are regularly at the cutting edge of employment law. Acting at the very forefront of employment law, we are regularly instructed on cases that raise the most important legal questions of the day, from diversity and gender pay, to employment status and the implications of the "gig" economy, to the interplay between data, transparency and privacy. The team is renowned for its strategic approach and litigation expertise, regularly appearing in the Employment Appeal Tribunal, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

HR Surgery

Delivering optimum value means working closely with our clients as part of their teams, getting to know their issues and priorities and tailoring our employment advice to their business. One way we can do this is by regularly attending our clients' HR team meetings to hold training or "surgery" sessions.

Sessions will train and develop your HR professionals and support them in resolving day-to-day issues, managing specific projects or tackling challenges you are facing. The content and frequency of these meetings will be bespoke and flexible, tailored to your evolving needs.
