Kunal Sankhla

Kunal is a Managing Associate in the Corporate department. He advises a wide range of early stage venture backed companies across sectors such as digital, life sciences, fintech, genomics, quantum and impact.

Equally, he also advises a range of angel and institutional investors within these sectors along with advising an array of spin out companies from various universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick, Imperial and UCL.

Key Experience

• Advising an AI company on its landmark $1.05 billion Series C investment round, being the largest ever AI fundraising by a European company.
• Advising an investor syndicate on their £12m Series B investment round into an Oxford born digital learning company.
• Advising a Cambridge based digital tech company in connection with its £23 million Series C investment round.
• Acting on a spin out/technology transfer transaction of a drug discovery company from The University of Oxford on its £6m pre-seed round.
• Advising a Greentech company on its £800,000 crowdfunding round which in turn enabled and accelerated its growth into the adoption of hydrogen engines at scale and the pathway to net zero.
