Mishcon de Reya has today announced that Partner Nick Davis will take on the role of Chair of the Firm's Private department. Nick was Head of the Corporate department for ten years. He was asked to take the Private department role following the announcement that James Libson would be the Firm's next Managing Partner with Kevin Gold taking on a new Executive Chairperson role.
A key aspect of Nick's role will be to oversee the ongoing distribution of leadership and management to the next generation of leaders in the Private department.
Kevin Gold said: "For the senior equity partners (SEPs) in Private, James and myself Nick was a natural choice. Having held senior leadership positions in his time here and at previous firms, Nick has a proven track record for developing individuals and practices. We know that he will bring this experience to bear in leading the Private department through this challenging period and the next phase of our ambitious growth plans."
