Ed is an Associate in the IP Group and is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney.
His experience encompasses working with start-ups and scale-ups across a broad range of sectors, including astronautical engineering, acoustic dampening devices, agricultural, commercial, and EV vehicles, boring/drilling equipment, computer technology and telecommunications, fuel cell technology, home appliances, liquid and gaseous fuel injectors, mechanical devices, medical devices, software, and wind turbines.
For these clients, he offers strategic patent and design advice, and manages the drafting, filing, and prosecution of clients' global patent portfolios. His expertise encompasses post-grant proceedings, particularly before the European Patent Office (EPO), and providing technically and commercially astute validity and infringement advice for contentious and litigious matters within the UK and European jurisdictions.
Ed is a member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, the Intellectual Property Regulation Board, and the European Patent Institute.
