Ms. Liu is a Dual English and Chinese Qualified Lawyer in the firm's Asia Group.
Ms. Liu has worked with both Chinese and Non-Chinese high net wealth individuals and multi-national companies. In addition to contentious work, Ms. Liu has extensive non-contentious working experience. Before joining Mishcon de Reya, Ms. Liu worked at first-tier Chinese firms both in Beijing and in London.
For the first three years of her career in Beijing, Ms. Liu advised both private and state-owned corporates on merger & acquisition issues, as well as assisting them in raising finance all over the world, by setting up funds, bond issues and IPO's. In London, she assisted high net wealth individuals on their immigration arrangements, helped Chinese companies on their early investments into various foreign jurisdictions, as well as guiding British companies wishing to invest in China.
Ms. Liu achieved a Master of Laws Legal Practice (Solicitors) with Merit, and a Graduate Diploma in Law with Commendation from BPP University, with a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics. She also obtained a Bachelor of Laws from China University of Political Science and Law with distinction in the top 2% of her year.
