We recently reviewed, revised and re-stated our firm's "Core Values".
The "Core Values" are not vague statements, they are meaningfully taken on board by everyone from senior management in making decisions through to the most junior staff member to hold the firm to account.
I thought I'd share one of them here: "Generosity of Spirit" – to act with authenticity, clarity, and integrity in all our dealings, placing the highest value on generosity of spirit, collaboration, mutual support and collective success.
It explains why, and how, we interact with lawyers around the world.
In order to provide our clients with the service they need around the world, we have to engage with lawyers around the world, and in particular, if we are to provide a service that feels like Mishcon around the world, we need to work with people like you, who we have determined approach your work like we approach ours.
We need, and we want, to collaborate for our, and our clients', success.
It's what we try to do every time we do any work for our clients, and it's what we expect those to whom we entrust our clients' work to do to.
We hope you enjoy reading the next edition of Mishcon and the World.
