Mishcon de Reya remains a Top 10 Employer for Working Families 2025

Posted on 30 September 2025

Mishcon de Reya has retained its position as one of the UK's leading family-friendly employers, once again securing a place in the Top 10 Employers for Working Families 2025 benchmark.

The benchmark is compiled by Working Families, the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers. It recognises organisations that go above and beyond in supporting the work-life balance and career development of parents and carers. The benchmark highlights the importance of flexible working and family-friendly policies, assessing their integration into organisational strategy and culture, evaluating policy and consistent practice, supported by evidence and statistics.

At a time when equity and diversity practices are being scaled back, Mishcon continues to stand firm in our commitment to drive inclusion at every level of our business and to foster a culture that thrives on diversity – this has always been, and continues to be, part of our core values. Mishcon continues to offer enhanced support to colleagues with parenting and caring responsibilities – visit our Wellbeing and Benefits page for more information about the firm's family and parental support.

Vanessa Dewhurst, Partner and Chief People Officer at Mishcon de Reya, said: "We are delighted and incredibly proud to have maintained our position among the Top 10 Employers for Working Families. One of the key strengths of our business is the diversity of the backgrounds, experiences, skills and perspectives of our people. At Mishcon de Reya, we recognise the complexities of balancing personal and professional commitments and remain committed to evolving our practices so that everyone at Mishcon feels valued and supported."

Jane van Zyl, CEO of Working Families, said: “Our Top Employers are a powerful reminder that there are employers who are already forging a path for family-friendly and flexible working that others can follow, safe in the knowledge that not only will their business not suffer, but it will thrive. Supporting carers, finding flexibility in job roles, and encouraging change from the top, as our Benchmark employers do, all add up to create inclusive workforces where everyone is empowered to work at their best.”
