Susan Breen, Partner and Head of the Betting & Gaming Group, took part in a panel on M&A Appetite in LATAM at the SiGMA Focus Americas (Digital) Summit. The virtual summit featured a number of panel discussions, all providing the latest information about the gambling industry in the Americas.
Susan's panel, chaired by Eman Pulis, Founder of SiGMA Group, comprised Andre Gelfi, Partner at Suaposta and Christina Romero, Partner at LOYRA, who discussed the appetite for M&A in LATAM and how hungry investors are to explore new markets within the region. The panel also discussed recent changes in regulation to specific jurisdictions within the region and the opportunities that may arise from this, the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sector, and the main points for investors to consider before investing in the LATAM market.
