Mishcon Academy: Digital Sessions – B Corps: A Framework for Better Business - In conversation with Chris Turner and Nadim Meer

DateTimeOnline

Please join us for this Mishcon Academy: Digital Session, which will be the first in our Purpose Matters series, a live session on Zoom chaired by Alexander Rhodes, Head of Mishcon Purpose.

Chris Turner is the Executive Director of B Lab UK, the organisation behind the B Corp movement in the UK. As it approaches its fifth birthday, B Lab UK is at the forefront of the drive towards responsible business, supporting an ever growing  global community of like-minded entrepreneurs to build credibility, trust and value by combining purpose and profit, through the B Corp model.

Nadim Meer is a Partner and Head of the Private Equity Group at Mishcon de Reya. Nadim leads the Firm's pro-bono partnership with B Lab UK, advising companies on the legal commitment to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment, which underpins certification as a B Corp.

In this session Chris and Nadim will discuss what it means to be a responsible business, why it is increasingly important and what impact it has made on businesses, their people, the communities they interact with and the environment.
