Nataliia is a Managing Associate in the International Arbitration team. Her practice covers both investment treaty and commercial arbitrations, with a focus on the energy, construction, mining and telecommunications sectors. Nataliia has acted for companies and sovereign states from around the globe, with a particular focus on Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. She has particularly significant experience acting for and against sovereign states. Nataliia has been recognised as a Future Leader in Arbitration in the Lexology Index 2026.
Nataliia has been involved in international arbitrations under most of the major institutional rules (ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SCC and UNCITRAL), as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. She also has experience of dispute board proceedings, annulment and enforcement proceedings, as well as cross-border litigation.
Trained in both civil and common law, Nataliia is admitted to practise in England, France, Ukraine and before the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) Court in Kazakhstan. She is fluent in English, French, Ukrainian and Russian.
She maintains an active pro bono practice focusing on public international law and human rights and is recognised in the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales for her work with the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG), a global pro bono law firm, on a series of Ukraine-related projects. Nataliia serves on the Board of the International Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association.
Prior to joining Mishcon de Reya, Nataliia practised in the international arbitration group of a global law firm in London and Paris.
