Grace is an Associate in the Private Department. She is a member of the Private Commercial Litigation and Politics and Law team.
She has a broad practice advising high-net-worth individuals, their families and their companies, in relation to various legal issues and disputes. She has experience advising on a variety of complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes, which often include allegations of civil fraud, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. She also has experience advising clients in relation to director and shareholder disputes, particularly in the context of a family business. Several of Grace's cases have involved obtaining or defending injunctions, and many of her cases to date have been high-profile.
In the Politics and Law space, she has experience of political party disputes – having recently acted for a client disputing a candidate selection process. Grace has a particular expertise in the niche area of election law and the laws governing lobbying and transparency. She is well placed to advise in relation to the role of, and regulatory action brought by, the Electoral Commission and other regulators. She can turn her hand to new and complex areas and has recently advised several clients as to their obligations under the new Foreign Influence Registration Scheme which came into force in July 2025.
Grace is experienced in advising clients in respect of investigations by Parliamentary Standards Commissioners and the Office of the Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists. She is well-equipped to assist clients in not only navigating the investigations, but also on how to protect their reputations throughout the process.
Grace is experienced in judicial review matters, having recently acted for 51 institutional investors seeking to challenge the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024.

Commercial litigation
- Advising a shareholder of a successful family business in relation to a multi-party shareholder dispute.
- Acting for the CEO of a listed British banking group on a high-profile termination.
- Acting for a number of companies and their UBO in relation to a multi-jurisdictional civil fraud dispute, which involved defending a worldwide freezing order, proprietary injunction, Chabra order and several interim applications.
- Acting for a listed mining company in a dispute involving several applications for injunctive relief, complex jurisdictional issues and English company law claims.
- Obtaining a worldwide freezing order and passport delivery up order in the Commercial Court.
- Obtaining a Norwich Pharmacal Order and superinjunction in the High Court for a company which was the victim of a fraud.
Public law and judicial review
- Acting for 51 institutional investors seeking to challenge the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 by way of judicial review.
- Acting for the grandchildren of Ruth Ellis in their application for a conditional pardon for the last woman hanged in Britain.
- Acting for a high-profile elected official in respect of his pre-trial detention in a foreign state in a matter raising issues under the ECHR.
Political disputes and consultancy work
- Acting on inter-party disputes, including challenging candidate selection processes.
- Advising on a campaign seeking to introduce a legal requirement to house defibrillators in new vehicles. We drafted the requisite legislative amendments and advised the client on the procedure for amending primary and secondary legislation.
Regulatory work
- Advising a client in respect of various complaints to regulators and the police in respect of alleged unlawful activities of a charity.
- Advising a company in relation to media scrutiny following the UK-general election in July 2024, in a matter that raised issues of election law and lobbying.
- Advising a high-profile think-tank on reputation issues and the laws governing campaign finance and political donations and a historic investigation by the Electoral Commission.
- Advising clients in respect of their obligations under the Transparency of Lobbying, Non-Party Campaigning and Trade Union Administration Act 2014 and in respect of investigations by the Office of the Registrar of Consultant Lobbyists.
- Advising a peer subject to an investigation by the House of Lords Commissioner for Standards.
- Advising a client on their obligations under EU law in respect of the EU Transparency Register.
