Georgie Wilson

Georgie is a Managing Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department, specialising in civil fraud and commercial litigation.

She has experience acting for both individual and corporate clients in a range of disputes including conspiracy, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and misappropriation of data and confidential information. These disputes are often complex and multi-jurisdictional in nature.

Georgie also assists victims of fraud by obtaining injunctive relief in order to secure assets and evidence, including search orders, freezing orders, delivery-up and computer imaging orders.

Key Experience

• Acting for one of the world's largest companies in a multi-jurisdictional $1.5bn conspiracy claim, including obtaining a variety of injunctive relief (in England and elsewhere) in support of the enforcement of an arbitral award.
• Acting for a BVI incorporated company in relation to a $50million debt claim involving complex issues around the appropriation and valuation of shares.
• Acting for the majority shareholders in multi-jurisdictional proceedings in relation to a claim for damages exceeding $2billion arising out of allegations of conspiracy and corporate raiding.
• Acting for an international pharmaceutical company in obtaining a search and computer imaging order in relation to misappropriated data.
