Charlie advises institutions, directors and former directors, creditors, shareholders and individuals in respect of high-value insolvency litigation, civil fraud and commercial disputes.
Key Experience
- Advising individuals, directors and former directors defending proceedings brought by liquidators and administrators
- Acting on all sides of claims brought against former directors and NEDs for wrongful trading and fraud
- Advising companies and individuals in respect of worldwide freezing injunctions, other injunctive relief proceedings, civil fraud and deceit claims
- Acting for institutions on complex disputes in respect of securitisation structures and banking facilities
- Representing overseas administrators in recognition applications before the High Court of England and Wales pursuant to the Cross-Border Insolvency Regulations
- Advising insolvency practitioners in relation to conduct investigations
- Advising individuals in respect of investment and crypto scams and asset tracing at a wide range of quantum levels
- Acting for parties involved in complex sports disputes, including a litigation cited in The Lawyer's top cases of 2025
