Bridget is a Consultant in our Recruitment Services Group. She specialises in advising recruitment companies, online platforms, clients of recruitment companies, managed service providers, recruitment process outsourcers and umbrella companies on a broad range of recruitment sector specific matters.
Bridget advises on the recruitment industry regulatory regime (The Employment Agencies Act, The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations and The Agency Workers Regulations); terms of business for permanent recruitment; executive search terms; commercial contracts for temporary assignments; consultancy and statement of work engagement models; managed service provision and recruitment process outsourcing; TUPE; tenders; the recovery of introduction and temp-to-perm fees; tax law specific to the recruitment sector, including IR35 and the off-payroll working rules; Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate inspections and investigations; and agency workers and the status of atypical workers. She also helps recruitment companies prepare for sale and provides support on corporate transactions, contributing to due diligence reports on recruitment company acquisitions.
