Mishcon de Reya supports UnLtd and "The Entrepreneur Ship" in 3,000 mile row

Posted on 1 July 2021

Mishcon de Reya is proud to support The Entrepreneur Ship in raising money for UnLtd – a charity that looks to support the talent of the future by helping to create opportunities that lead to a fairer and more inclusive society.

Guy Rigby and David Murray are embarking on a 3,000-mile unassisted row from La Gomera in the Canaries to Antigua in the West Indies in their 24-foot rowing boat, Lily, also known as The Entrepreneur Ship. This approximately 60 day row will also mean that they are the oldest pair ever to row any ocean.

The purpose of Guy and David's challenge is to raise awareness of the benefits of entrepreneurship in all its aspects, while focusing on the development of social entrepreneurs and raising funds for a charity that finds, funds and supports them.

Head of Mishcon Purpose Alexander Rhodes says, "Guy and David's chosen charity UnLtd is an engine for positive change, enabling social entrepreneurs to grow and deliver impact in their communities.  As we look to business to help tackle some of the biggest challenges of our times, these social entrepreneurs provide a blueprint for purpose-led business for others to follow."

Partner and Chief Brand Officer Elliot Moss says, "We're thrilled to partner with The Entrepreneur Ship and UnLtd. We understand that in order to build diverse companies that solve the problems of tomorrow, we need to empower the next generation of business-leaders and support them through their entrepreneurial journey. We are looking forward to cheering Guy and David on."

Guy Rigby says; “The purpose of our challenge is to promote a fairer and more inclusive society. With Mishcon de Reya’s help, we will raise significant funds for UnLtd, the charity that finds, funds and supports social entrepreneurs, often in deprived areas, bringing jobs and other benefits to local communities. Please join our crew!”
