Issues relating to the protection of confidential information and trade secrets arise in several areas, from protecting private information through to a significantly valuable commercial formula. In this session Peter Nunn, head of Mishcon's Trade Secrets Group, and Chloe Hamilton will talk through the law of confidentiality and trade secrets, including how to protect them, exploit them and enforce them. They will review some of the key cases that have determined the relevant principles in this area, and also identify those issues where there is scope for future development of the law.
