This module includes three lectures which will be discussed live by Simon Leaf (Head of Sport) and Tom Murray (Course Convenor). The session has been curated in partnership with chartered accountants, Saffery Champness, who advise over 70 Premier League footballers on all aspects of their tax affairs.
The module will explore: the key things to look out for when drafting or entering into sponsorship agreements, the concept of image rights and why clubs and players enter into image rights agreements before finally discussing the tax implications and advantages of image rights structuring.
